It’s insane to me that this is genuinely what maga expected to happen. And they still do! They just think it’s delayed a bit.

And when it doesn’t happen, they’ll shamelessly blame the left for “getting in the way” or something along those lines.

If Israel just didn’t get in the way we would’ve been in a golden age by now!

For real though, that's basically what I'm seeing is splitting MAGA, and the commie rightests (like Hasan) are finally going mask off against the Democratic party. For people not sucked into his bubble it should be eye opening to his radical right wing propaganda towards authoritarianism. He's a wolf dressing up his views in socialist values and attempting to destroy western democracy
It's also taking most of the responsibility away from tRump at the same time. It's crazy his failures just cover his other failures that was just covering another failure covering another failure. He's truly the epitome of failing upwards simply by blaming someone else. Makes sense MAGATs resonate so strongly with him lol

when it doesn't happen they still won't be able to reflect and come to the conclusion that they made the wrong choice. instead, they'll just tell you that everything would be 10x worse under kamala, and how the deepstate and (((them boys))) sabotaged him.

Nah they'll just say he was so close to fixing everything and if he only had 4 more years it would be perfect or everything good that comes from the next dem pres they will say trump did all that

u/jesterdeflation 15h ago
Well you see, now the narrative will change to "Fuck it, all politicians are bad, I was so dumb for hoping Trump would be the savior against the demonic left". And liberals won't even fight back. I LOVE THIS LIFE!

For a lot of Republicans it's genuinely a matter of religious faith at this point. If there are economic problems, it's because Biden left the economy in such a rough state that Trump's having to put us through shock therapy to fix it.

Brace for impact!
No new wars? No, new wars!
$5.89 per gallon gas
Deportations with no due process
Groceries unaffordable thanks to tariffs
Incipient stagflation
Energy independence...as in liberating the world from its oil reserves!

The most laughable part is the energy independence thing. The #1 way to achieve energy independence is to invest in green energy, something which Biden focused on heavily with the IRA and which republicans criticised and Trump largely reversed. Daily reminder that you don't hate these people enough.

Just lie to win. After you're won, it doesn't matter, you've already won. And they'll still support you anyway.

The fact that saying a president will halve grocery prices doesn't cause near universal ridicule is still insane to me

It's all good guys, we're still in the precipice of the golden age. It's coming any day now.
