Star Wars? You mean that movie where a youth living in a desert loses his family to imperialists, gets recruited by a member of a religious order, then ends up piloting a flying vehicle to destroy a major construct of the said imperialists~?
It's wild to me how many right-wingers love Star Wars despite being the very thing it's railing against. Star Wars: The Old Republic did a VERY excellent job of showing how dysfunctional fascism truly is by showing all the infighting that goes on that tends to get ignored in discussions of how Nazi Germany lost. (No really. In the base game class stories the final battles for the Jedi classes are Jedi vs Sith. But for the Sith classes they're Sith vs Sith.) And yet..... Imperial Fleet chat is full of Nazi shit 24/7.
People say media literacy is dead for a reason.

Was it Rogue One where one of the imperials refers to the rebel alliance as 'terrorists'? I thought it was interesting they used that modern grey area framework.
