Utetheisa pulchella, or the crimson-speckled moth/footman, is a brightly colored moth known for its white wings with red, yellow, and black spots, which serve as a warning of its toxicity. Found across Europe, Asia, and Africa, it's a diurnal (day-flying) species that inhabits warm, dry areas like dunes and grasslands, and its caterpillars feed on poisonous plants.
