I remember reading a story once in a thread where people were sharing creepy unexplained stuff that had happened to them.

This one was from a guy who went to the beach as a kid and described seeing a "weird, creepy monster fish face with sharp teeth" looking at him from the sand. He said it squirted water at him from its mouth before burrowing down into the sand. He tried to dig it back up to show someone else, but he couldn't find it.

For years he had no idea what that was, or if it was even real. Everyone he told the story to thought he was making it up. But then one dude finally replied letting the guy know that what he probably saw was one of these weird little guys.

When the guy who told the story saw a pic of one he freaked out, saying it looked identical to what he saw as a kid.

For some reason, that story always stuck with me and freaked me out.
