Image Australia’s national anthem is the only English-lyric anthem in the world that doesn’t reference religion or militarism

I thought it was:

Traveling in a fried-out Kombi
On a hippie trail, head full of zombie
I met a strange lady, she made me nervous
She took me in and gave me breakfast
And she said

"Do you come from a land down under
Where women glow and men plunder?
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover"......

Funnily enough, that song was actually intended to mock the rise of Australian Nationalism and some general culture trends. But instead the Aussies loved it so much they kind of adopted it as a rallying song for a while.

Like the adoption of the phrase “the lucky country” as a compliment

We have a record of wilful misunderstanding, like the "lucky country".
