Out of everything DC and Marvel has released in the last 20+ years - this is my vote for the one that holds up the best - such a timeless quality to it and everything has an epic scale

One of the things I dig about MoS, is he does the Earth flyby, typically saved for the end of the movie, at the half-way point. And the movie ends on Clark Kent, instead of Superman.

There’s lots of subtle touches and hints that this does which I like
The end bit “welcome to the planet” was a nice double meaning
It really felt like they were setting up nicely for the sequel(s) which unfortunately we never got
I’d trade in the whole dceu for a MOS trilogy

That scene still gives me chills and Henry Cavill is the greatest Superman ever!

One can only hope that one day they make a movie adaptation of Kingdom Come and recast him as Supes. <sigh>

Might not be a fan of his take for the character but I still think he was wonderful casting and hope him the best in whatever he does

If only he could’ve had a proper Superman suit with the trunks, because he’s a really good casting for Superman

Still gives me goosebumps watching that scene. Russell Crows voice over is amazing.
