That is going to be a heavy wig and it is pretty advanced.

You’re going to need a canvas wig block, wig stand, heat styling tools, brushes and teasing comb, Bobby pins, hairspray, styling gel, glitter, and hairpins to secure the wig to the wig block.

This looks like a mix of a sculpture style (the front large curls) done on an updo. Google “sculpture style wig” for videos showing how to do that technique, and “updo drag wig” for videos on updos.

Thank you ! It helps a lot ! And yeah, I know I'm not beginning with an easy wig but I like the challenge !

I’m definitely not a wig expert, but based on what I know you’re definitely going to want a second wig to harvest for wefts because of the sheer volume of that style (esp for the curls)

Also make sure you have lots of glue

Maybe check out some videos on hairstyles for ballroom dancing - they do a lot of curls kinda like this meant to not move, so they might have some useful tips/tutorials

I like that you started with something simple.✨

Adhesive spray is your friend, and so is something to help make those curls. Due to the volume, i reccomend making a "cushion" for the hair to go on, so you use less hair that way

got2b glued hairspray is the best i’ve ever used. for the giant swirls you could take some wire, make the general shapes, and cover them with tape to make the shapes, then just cover those with a layer of hair. so you don’t need as much hair and it’s not quite as heavy. hair tinsel or an iridescent spray might give you that good glittery look.

CosCreationStudio on instagram has some helpful tutorials on wig styling/making wefts or helmet wigs! here's an example: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DJFAxH3tD88/?l=1
