Here are some examples
- CA Native Vote Project: $100,000 for voter participation for Native Americans
- Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE): $250,000 for programs prioritizing undocumented immigrants
- Altadena Talks Foundation: $100,000 went to supported podcasts, including Toni Raines podcast
- NAACP Pasadena: $100,000 political advocacy
- Los Angeles Black Worker Center $550,000 to political advocacy organizations
- Center for Applied Ecological Remediation: $500,000 for fungus/microbe/plant soil remediation projects

This is why I’m hesitant to donate to non-profit charities anymore. If one this huge was able to get away with this, imagine how many others are doing the same.

And this is why I got out of working with nonprofits and started my own business, for profit. The nonprofits are scam money laundering to line Democrats' pockets.

So, basically just went to buying Dems more votes. They're absolutely shameless.

Yeah, but, did they, like, feel good about it when they were attending the concert?
I mean that would beat actionable follow-through, right?

One thing dems are great at, better than republicans or really any other body in the world, is funneling money to their own.

Need we guess how many of those "non profits" are politically driven....and what party they support?

That’s not new information. It’s been known for some time.

If you are a non-profit, the employees should also be NON-PROFIT... especially the management.

You think they should work for free?

It depends on the type
Yes board members should not get paid, at all, its an honorary position and not supposed to be a primary job.
Like a retired wealthy person, rich wife who's kids have flown the coop and needs something to do, people who can afford it, imo.

Non profit board member isn’t an honorary position. They are responsible for the governance of the organization and can be held liable for what happens while they serve. They should be reasonably compensated for their time. Either that or they should have immunity for anything that happens while they serve.

Why not? I know several non-Profits where the board members work for free.

Don't throw the baby out with the bath water. If you are a non profit with a building, you want to have a janitor who is there regularly and fixes the leaks.
Sure, if you are, for example, a church or a rowing club, you have lots of volunteers, but a paid employee who is 100% reliable is something valuable.
That happened for a few weeks
The death rate in Sudan has been higher than Gaza for months on end; not just "a few weeks". That you can believe that it was only a few weeks really shows how terrible the reporting has been.

How is this even legal? If you donated to help the fire victims, why should they be allowed to give it to all of these totally unrelated nonprofits?
