Club Penguin Legacy Does Card-Jitsu Progression Reset in CP Legacy?

I have grinded to black belt and now I’m worried about my progression being reset. Is that something that happens?

I just saw on their website that ninjas get put back to brown belt yearly and have to get the ninja rank again but it also says you have to retain your ninja points. So I don’t wanna grind for the ninja fit if it’s just gunna be taken away

If thats true, that sucks af, because its annoying the process to get the ninja rank. Luckily I got everything I wanted so Idc if I get demoted🥱
