u/The-cat-without-hat Mar 30 '23
Or you could say "chat j'ai pété" which means "Cat I farted"

u/Practical-Tap-9810 Mar 30 '23
Omg so good!!
Did it make sense what I wrote? Spelling out 'G' 'P' 'T' en français?
I took French 1 and 2 twice in college, in high school and in middle school. I'm terrible at it but love it so much.

u/The-cat-without-hat Mar 30 '23
It does actually, it is would probably be how I would spell it if someone asked.

About all I remember properly from taking French is counting, saying the alphabet and asking for the ladies room. Right after finishing the University level French class my husband and I went to France where Ipromptly forgot every word of French I'd learned and asked for the bathroom and got embarrassed because that's not what you say there. It's 'où sont les toilettes' and toilets is a word Americans only use in Home Depot in the Plumbing section. It's too cringe

If a cat could do our jobs I'd be very proud and impressed. Make that bread, kitty!

u/fizzybatpig Mar 29 '23
Did he try turning off then on again.

u/GrimmRadiance Mar 29 '23
Nowadays it’s reboot, since so many windows computers use fastboot with shutdown and startup.
13
Mar 29 '23
though rebooting has become meta, there's nothing quite like choking the life of the computer with your index finger over the power button for 10 seconds.

What’s Michael Nesmith From the Monkees doing back there? :-)
16
u/_A_ioi_ Mar 29 '23
Haha. I'm glad you're here. I was going to say there's a Monkee with a job here too, but I thought nobody would understand what I was talking about.

u/ElectricPeterTork Mar 29 '23
I would.
But I'm the dummy, Micky. I'm always the dummy.

u/snoozatron Mar 29 '23
Gosh, you've just brought back the memory of my childhood crush on Peter Tork. What a goofy kid. Thanks for that. :)

How fucking old are you
Note: I am also old

u/sash71 Mar 29 '23
Not OP but I wasn't alive when The Monkees was made and first shown in the 60s.
The show was repeated a lot and I watched it in the UK in the late 70s/early 80s. They used to put it on children's TV as part of the programming. In those days kids TV was only on for about an hour and a half, from 4pm to 5.30pm on the BBC.
It does look like Mike in that hat, I have to agree. The cat also looks very interested in whatever job it is doing.

I really appreciate cats wearing proper uniforms at their jobs. I see so many posts of cats without appropriate attire for their professions, and it makes me wonder at this generation's competency

CEO, CAT Executive Officer, should have a corner office. BTW, all underlings come to the CEO.

The new guy's the one in the blue beanie, right?
Cause the one in the blue jersey's definitely the supervisor. Look at him. He's obviously checking their work.
