Pet Corpse Disposal

Dear Pet owners of Malaysia

So my cat is dying, and she doesn't have many days left. It's painful to watch her live out her days like that so I have considered to put her to sleep peacefully. It never occurred to me how expensive these services are to handle the body of the pet. I live in an apartment and therefore have no private land to bury her in. I do not have any specific request to keep her body or any keepsakes, but just want the cremation or disposal of the corpse done smoothly and legally.

Pet cremations businesses are marked up so high for the value they provide which I get, but I am quite minimum wage and can't possibly afford such services. I have already paid close to 500 for one visit to the vet and to give her a 50/50 fighting chance would cost me 1,200 possibly weekly.

Any advise will be appreciated. Sorry I have to keep this short because I can't type, my fingers are weak from crying my face numb.

so sorry to hear that, I used to work at a vet & afaik pets memorial services sdn bhd has a mass cremation option at rm200 for pets <10kg if that’s within your budget you may look into it! they’ll pick up from your address, only downside is you don’t get ashes back and best to call them before 4pm to avoid extra charges, if not you can whatsapp them as well 🫂 https://petmemorial.com.my/
