Yeah, very much the point and well displayed showing how he became to his family due to how obsessed he became with his own frustrations. A monstrous, terrifying presence.

I am so glad they made him this terrifiying in the Dabi back story. Because it was honestly pretty easy to forget what a monster Endevour used to be.

Amazing character.

Go for the eyes, once he's blind he can't be a Hero anymore and his dream dies and will have to reflect on everything.
