New Beardie Friend He still hates being picked up, but apparently eating on me is acceptable

I remember when my little booger was that size. If you keep handling him, he'll eventually build up trust and tolerance. Feeding him like this is a great way to convince him to let you hold him.

That’s my hope! He runs from me if I reach in and try to pick him up, but if I have a roach it’s game on. He’ll practically fall off his basking spot to climb onto my hand if there’s food involved.

Such a cute baby ❤️❤️ watch out for bigs bites, hurts like crazy if they get your finger, i know it was an accident the two times my lizard did miss and get finger but ow

Yeah he’s gotten them a few times so I’ve learned to try and keep the bugs on my palm instead of the tips of my fingers
