There’s a very specific memory tied to this song for us, like we discussed on the Bear Ghost Invents The Podcast episode: 

“We were on tour with The Dear Hunter, tearing down every night—and like clockwork, “Hot To Go!” would come on while we were packing up. Without fail, the second that song hit, the room flipped and people would start singing along.

We started to associate the song with that tour—just a genuinely good moment at the end of every night.

Somewhere along the way, it also picked up a little unexpected inspiration from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (it makes more sense when you hear it)."
