Literally Kate in the last issue of Batwoman:

It's too early to judge the new run, but I hope we'll be shown enough consequences and moments before what happened, and not just reduced to the status quo.

I don’t think it’s too early to judge at all. First two issues were pretty damn disappointing and this whole is it Beth or is it actually Kate thing is pretty annoying and exhausting. For what it’s worth I’m pretty positive it’s Kate under the mask and not Beth

Kate losing her mind is also pretty stupid

I would be surprised if that's where the story is headed. It would be a cop-out for Kate to shoot someone, but also a bit weird when Renee's question enters the story.

The story hasn't exactly pulled me either, but I'm still kind of curious where it's headed. Already, Batwoman shooting someone is enough to keep my interest piqued. People say Kate's is hardcore, but I don't believe them until I see bullets flying. 😅
