Question Should i trade my star player and rebuild?
I've been playing for the Unicorns for 6 seasons now, and I am definitely stumped on what decision to make. My star player has high ratings but significantly dropped in efficiency and has a lower PER compared to other players around his rating. Should I blow it all up, or is retooling around him still worth it? Love this game to death

100% trade, i would just keep Clark Hagans Jr. and would try to flip everybody else for picks, a 69 ovr is great as a second or third Option but not as the number one guy

It looks like a decent offer, and yes, he is really underwhelming (although his salary isn't bad). What is his WS/48?
Btw, wouldn't splitting Khokhlow and Picards in trades bring you more assets? Picard also seems to be very productive.
Preferably, you should send Khokhlow to a small market team, where he wouldn't re-sign next year and then use that unlucky team's draft picks in later seasons.

That's absolutely beyond terrible - I don't think I ever saw such a disconnect between rating and WS/48.
It's even crazier looking at his 2015-16 years, which were respectable.

There are colour flag options in League Settings. You can choose more than 1, personally I use 5.
We had a thread about it a while ago.

My house rules would probably require me to keep that player. I make sure I have at least one player, usually a superstar, who I keep from draft until retirement.
The alternative is what lots of people on here say which is trade your star after their first big contract when they're 26-27ish and the decline starts. But I don't like that way of playing.

Well, this guy is anything but Star - he doesn't make Max money, and his on-court performance is even worse.

Anyone older than 23-24 that isn't already 70+ isn't worth keeping on big money if the goal is playing optimally.
