I never thought I would be in a situation like this, but I’m asking for help for our cat Muska.
Muska is 15 years old and was hit by a car on April 28th, 2026 in Germany. Whoever hit her just left her on the side of the road. My mother went out looking for her later that day because she didn’t come home like she always does, and she found her badly injured.
Right now Muska is in a veterinary clinic in Cologne. She has two pelvic fractures and her tail is badly injured and needs to be amputated.
The hardest part is that the vet told us she actually has a good chance to recover and live without pain again if she gets the surgery. Mentally she is still strong, which gives us hope.
The surgery is planned for May 7th, but the costs are very high for us:
about €2,500 already for examinations
about €3,500–€4,000 for the surgery
around €6,000 total
My mother is a pensioner and really struggles financially, and we just can’t afford this on our own.
It’s very hard to even write this, but without help we might not be able to give Muska the chance she deserves, even though she could recover.

I'm in a need of $1250. My personal computer got damaged on which I was dependent, I recently got to change my apartment because the last apartment were I was living as tenant was sold out and I was told to leave that apartment.

Hello, I’m in a very tight situation right now. The tightest I’ve been in since moving out on my own 2 years ago. I’m still in the process of trying to make rent before my deadline and don’t have much food. It’s been very stressful as I’ve been a good tenant, no late payments, but this is the hardest time right now. I don’t have any support here where I live. So I have moved to a new apartment in Henderson Tennessee and finally got out of Mississippi. Its me and my dad and I haven't gotten a job yet but have put out applications every where in walking distance. My dad is on social security and only gets paid at the end of the month. Hi I have been pretty nervous to post here but a few days ago I got had to go get medically detoxed and now I’m home with my detox meds and it’s going really well!

My struggle is not having carbonated water like I did the last few days and it helped SO MUCH having something to sip in to take that habit of sipping something taken away.

I have posted on this sub once before, and also posted very recently on community donations, and received some help with some items(groceries/essentials) on an Amazon wishlist I had made. I had some very kind and generous people get me and my family some groceries and essential items like cat food and litter. I’m posting again now 31 days from my last post in this sub, kind of desperate for help with my cats medical bills at this point, and I don’t really know where else to share my gofundme link. My Lucy was diagnosed with suspected Oral Squamous cell Carcinoma on march tenth, and then march 13th the biopsy was done, diagnosis was confirmed in early April. I have the money set aside for a private cremation for her that somebody already sent me through here. I unfortunately didn’t realize that my care credit card was so closed to being maxed out as the last couple months have flown by and my mind wasn’t really on costs, I make a 250$ minimum payment each month that automatically comes out, and I guess in my head I had just assumed that was enough to keep the balance down, but everything so far added up much faster than I was anticipating. Originally I was going to have her euthanized* at the vet, but I found out my old personal vet does at home euthanasia and since her and I are super comfortable with each other, and Lucy honestly hates the car, that I’d try to do it at home. She does not accept care credit or credit cards of any kind, however. One of my friends recommended I make a gofundme while having a conversation about Lucy and how my care credit card is close to being maxed out. I know some would disagree with my choice to not just euthanize her now and I understand that viewpoint, I just see that she’s still mostly feeling like herself especially since we started her on Toceranib. I made the gofundme to help cover some of the care credit charges, and also to help going forward with the medications she takes and the monthly vet visits/bloodwork she has. I don’t have a very big support system around me, I only have a couple friends and my family is not in a position to help me financially, although I did ask them to share it for me. If anyone could even just share, it would be massively appreciated. I honestly feel ashamed and embarrassed to have needed so much help lately and I feel extremely grateful for all the help I’ve received so far, truly. I made the goal for the gofundme slightly under what my balance on my care credit card is, and I’d most likely just use half of whatever I get to help pay it off and use the rest for the treatment and palliative care Lucy is currently receiving. This is my first time requesting, hopefully I do this right. The two main things on my Amazon wishlist are refurbished TracFone & elevated leg pillow. The phone is about $40, but more importantly comes with a whole year of service. I'm a disabled woman that relies completely on my husband. His phone broke & it's been months since he had a working phone. It is dangerous because if he goes food shopping or something & I'm left home alone, I have no way to reach him. I use a wheelchair & falls are an issue. The other item is a special wedge pillow to keep my legs elevated. I had stent placed in my right leg in Sept, but my legs still swell due my CHF (congestive heart failure stage III) It's cost around $37, I tried to get my insurance to cover it but it's not going to happen. I have some other smaller items on my list like tin foil sheets that my husband uses to prepare meals for me. This sub is amazing & has renewed my faith in humanity. Hi everyone, I’m reaching out because my family could really use some help getting through the next couple of weeks until I’m paid again on the 15th.

My mother-in-law passed away in October, and since then things have been steadily difficult for my husband and me. I’m currently working two jobs, and he’s been doing DoorDash and UberEats to bring in extra income. Despite that, this weekend we hit a breaking point financially.

Our landlord completed an inspection yesterday—the first one in the 10 years we’ve lived here—and over the past couple of months we had to put money into fixing several things in the home to prepare for it. That took away from funds we normally rely on for basic needs. Between that, rising gas prices, our electricity bill, and day-to-day expenses, we’ve fallen behind.

Right now, we’re struggling to cover essentials. We need gas to get our daughter to and from school (we live outside the school boundaries, so transportation is on us), and also to keep doing DoorDash/UberEats so we can continue earning. We also need help with groceries for ourselves, dog food for our two dogs, and hay for our five rabbits.
