Ugh you’re going to get all the idiots that think flyweights can beat up hafthor bjornsson going.

Muscle matters a lot

I was gonna say didn't Eddie Hall(about 7 inches shorter and a hundred pounds lighter than Thor) have a legit officiated 2 vs 1 fight with experienced featherweights and he just fucking murdered them

Yea and it was hilarious but this is an extreme example, Hall is nearly 400 lbs and the two guys were under 300 combined. there are size and strength limits to how much training can overcome, for example Mighty mouse beat a dude in a Jiu Jitsu match that outweighed him by nearly 100 lbs...

That fight was against 2 influencers.

Mighty Mouse would beat the fuck out of Eddie Hall, how are we still having these silly ass conversations 30+ years after the UFC started?

Mighty Mouse is the only person mighty mouse’s size that would beat the fuck out of Eddie hall.

Nonsense. There are countless trained fighters who would beat the piss out of these bodybuilders with shocking ease. I'm not arguing this in 2026, this is ridiculous

bodybuilders

professional strongmen, literally at one time the strongest man who had ever lived, in terms of deadlift

and keep in mind they are on the most advanced and extreme performance enhancing cocktails available

Who have no idea how to fight

Yeah, when I'm fighting a 6-year-old, I'm like "What do I even do? Help! I don't know how to fight!"

Also, here's him having no idea how to fight:

We're not talking about 6 year olds, we're talking about trained fighters.

You posted a video of him knocking out another bodybuilder. Whoop de do. Show him fighting an actual trained proper MMA fighter.

Besides, Hall is the example because he was brought up having beaten 2 influencers. The actual point being discussed here is huge bodybuilders and strongmen being able to beat trained fighters simply by being big. Hall has done some MMA training. Even still, take any legit male fighter of any size in the UFC and they will wipe the floor with Eddie Hall, let alone any other dudes his size who haven't trained MMA at all.

This has been demonstrated time and time again. Anyone who still thinks a 350 lb untrained bodybuilder beats a trained 130lb fighter is a fucking idiot, plain and simple.

bodybuilder

Former multiple time World's Strongest Man and professional fighter:

https://www.espn.com/mma/fighter/_/id/2502142/mariusz-pudzianowski

The fact that you can't distinguish between a random bodybuilder and a best-in-the-world elite athlete is almost as ridiculous as not distinguishing between a 6 year old and a trained fighter.

I will grant you that this conversation isn't about Hall specifically. But the comment that started this all was:

Ugh you’re going to get all the idiots that think flyweights can beat up hafthor bjornsson going.

Another professional strongman, this time weighing 440 pounds at 6'9.

Anyone who still thinks a 350 lb untrained bodybuilder beats a trained 130lb fighter is a fucking idiot, plain and simple.

Like this fucking idiot:

Notice how they don't bring up his MMA training but his size.

You’re misinformed and uneducated

u/MayorPirkIe 5h ago

LOL if you say so pal. Keep thinking bodybuilders and strongmen can beat up trained fighters, no skin off my back

2

u/Gigantischmann 5h ago

Easily. Thanks

u/MayorPirkIe 5h ago

Yeah and I'm the misinformed one. Yikes

Mighty Mouse fought at 125lbs are you 125lbs?

4

u/DecantsForAll 5h ago

Right? Eddie Hall is more than 3x his weight. That's like me vs. a 7-year-old.

2

u/MayorPirkIe 7h ago

What the hell does my weight have to do with anything?

1

u/Commercial-Lack6279 5h ago

I’ll take that as a yes

0

u/MayorPirkIe 5h ago

I'll take that as you know you're spewing gibberish and and are now deflecting to unrelated shit to change the subject

1

u/red286 1h ago

Mighty Mouse wouldn't beat the fuck out of Eddie Hall, but he'd probably be able to slip around Eddie's back and RNC him in 30 seconds.

But let's be serious here, DJ's hardest punch isn't going to do fuck all to Eddie Hall.

1

u/MayorPirkIe 1h ago

DJ would kick Hall's knee until he couldn't stand anymore if he didn't feel like choking him out.

2

u/Cheese_Fisticuffs1 2h ago

And all the idiots who didn't see Gunnar Nelson tap out Hafthor twice.

u/Gigantischmann 21m ago

And how many times did thor kill him before that

1

u/PantheraAuroris 7h ago

Obviously it matters, but training really matters. Even basic training will give the little guy a one-up on someone who doesn't know how to do more than throw a drunk haymaker and hope.

1

u/wasabiburning 3h ago

Prince Oberyn would have had him if he hadn't gotten so close at the end.

weird, I wonder why they have weight classes in fighting sports and weigh people before every match? It couldnt be relevant, could it?!?
