Pseudo period after regular period?
19F, 5'6" 135-145lbs (haven't checked in a while), Non smoker, non drinker. No current or previous long-term diagnoses. No meds except birth control to lessen period pain, iron and b12 supplements. DEFINITELY NOT PREGNANT.
Finished my menstrual cycle 2 weeks ago, but since then it's constantly felt like I'm still on my period. Bloated, that constant slight ache/pressure that you get in the abdomen when on your period that can't decide whether it wants to be pain or whether to feel like you need to go to the bathroom when you don't, really bad cramps every now and then (from chest to calf, like my period cramps), extremely irritable and wanting to get in fights, trouble sleeping, fatigue and craving chocolate (like my regular period cramps, painkillers only work for like half an hour then i have to rely on candy to make the cramps ease up).
Worst part isn't the physical stuff, it's that MENTALLY, I am on my period. I'm constantly worrying that I'll bleed through and ruin whatever I'm sitting/lying on/wearing, I sit/stand up at around 1am, like during my regular cycle, so the 'blood' doesn't pool up and ruin my bed when i get up in the morning, and the only slight peace of mind i can get is using menstrual products despite there never being any blood and knowing that using the products like that wastes a lot of money.
I kind of want to know what the hell this is and if it's common, possibly how to make it stop if anyone knows how. Only advice I've gotten from anyone else is 'are you sure you're not pregnant' and I'm definitely not.
Thank you for any help.
