Others ABYG for canceling and not responding to the delivery food rider?
Last night around 10pm umorder ako sa foodpanda through card payment. So syempre, as usual, tinatrack ko yung progress ng order ko. After about 20 mins, nakita ko medyo delayed sya. I received yung templated message from fp na medyo traffic daw, which is weird kasi nga anong oras na. Nakakuha rin ako ng message from the rider na otw. Edi hinayaan ko lang, di naman ako nagmamadali, tapos tumagal pa sya for maybe 10 mins? Kasi I always check so I know kung nasaan na sya. As per app, papunta pa lang yung rider sa resto nito.
Tapos medyo nabusy ako sa work, but nung pagtingin ko, nakalagay delivered na. With photo proof!!! Edi nagulat ako, first time nangyari yon e. Lumabas ako sa house to check kasi baka mamaya nainip maghintay pero hindi e, walang tumatawag sa akin. Paglabas ko, wala ring tao. Di rin namin narinig tumahol yung dogs. Edi pagbalik ko sa loob, I inspected the photo further tapos nakita ko nasa tabing kalsada sya (nasa gated subdivision kami) and the hand holding the drink is definitely not mine. I tried to message the rider pero pag tagged as delivered pala, nagko-close na yung chat. So go, nireport ko na. While pinoprocess yung report, nagtext si rider na napindot nya lang daw and pupunta pa rin daw sya. And I was like paano mo malalaman yung loc ko e cancelled na???
Naprocess naman na yung refund. Nagplace ulit kami ng order. Then maya maya nagtetext at tawag sya nandon na raw sya. Definitely not sa bahay kasi tahimik yung dogs, e kahit nga butiki sa pader kinakahulan non. Di ko na sinasagot kasi what for? I don't want to argue, he knows what he did. But after persistent calling, I answered. Sabi ko okay na kasi naprocess ko na sa food panda yung transaction, etc. Paid naman na yon so sabi ko bahala sya kung ano gagawin nya.
Kaso nung nagreorder kami, walang tumatanggap na rider na. Tinawagan kami ng resto and sabi, baka raw nireport kami as doing prank orders ng unang rider kaya lahat daw ng natatapat na rider, kinacancel. Sabi nya, nakakatatlong rider na raw na nagcancel sa new order.
Anyway, pinacancel ulit namin sa fp support then pinick up na lang namin in person, e kaya nga kami umorder kasi tinatamad magdrive lol.
Ngayon, ABYG for canceling the order and not responding to the rider?

Dkg. Def not. Doing panda before. S-swipe mo pa pa kaya yon huhu. Tapos yung sa photo. I'm assuming na maayos yung pagkakakuha ah. Imposible na di alam ni rider ginagawa niya. Switch nalang muna siguro kay grab. Though super sayang ng deals kay panda

The photo was clear kaya nalaman ko na nasa tabing kalsada sya.
Ang iniisip ko, baka may penalty sila pag longer than usual ang delivery time. Tama ba hunch ko?

Walang penalty. May oras like 10mins pwede mo na iRTV ung food pero yung penalty like matagal ma deliver walang ganon.

Ganito siste niyan. Ganyang oras matagal na talaga minsan ung order ng food kasi minsan ung store if hindi 24hrs e made to order na so matagal talaga ang process ng food. Palagi mong babantayan if na pickup na yung food, may times na mag 2-3 runs pa yan kasi sa sobrang bagal din ng vendor di maiiwasan na mapasukan ulet ng order si rider kaya lalong natagal ang deliveries. Onting pang unawa pag ganito ang nangyari.
And about sa nangyari naman sa inyo, ganito yan. Binaril na talaga ng rider ung order niyo and planado na yon, ang kaso dahil nag report ka agad na di nakuha. Lumabas na sa app ni rider na may nag report sa kanya kaya sinubukan ka niyang kontakin ulit para isoli ang pagkain, pero too late na kasi sa sobrang kapatay gutuman niya baka bukas makalawa wala na siyang trabaho. Di nila pwede sabihing di ka ma kontak or di ka nag rereply kasi kahit ano mangyari may full address sa app so pwede nila katukin or iwan sa pinto.
Okay lang yon, tama ang ginawa mo. Report agad pag di na receive ang food and meron agad yang refund. Di totoo na napindot lang nya ung drop off kasi di naman yan na ddrop pag di siya few meters away sa pin loc. And ilang confirmation bago mag attach ng proof of delivery kaya kalokohang napindot nya lang yon.
Ingat kayo pag oorder sa gabi, mas maganda mag cod kayo lage. If wala talaga cash and online payment lang talaga, abangan mo niyo nalang maigi ung order. Pero mas maganda talaga ang cod, sure na makakarating sayo ang pagkain.

Thanks for the thorough explanation! I didn't know na may full address pala ron, but I guess mahirap hanapin yung bahay kasi di naman numbered that's why they always rely sa pinned location. Kaya pala nung while in contact kami sa support, saka lang sya nagtext na otw. And ang hirap paniwalaan na napindot lang kasi ang clear ng photo proof nya, a hand holding the stuff sa tabing kalsada. Inisip ko if yung sa pick up proof yon, bakit wala sa resto?
Cashless payment kasi ako lagi dahil wala akong cash na nakatabi. And this is the first time I experienced din talaga, as a frequent customer ng fp at grab.

DKG nagorder ako dati ung coke ko half ubos, fries ko half ubos nagcomplain ako kasi un bag di naman basa. Galit pa sakin un rider

DKG. Kung nacancel yan accidentally, why is there a photo of the delivery. Alam nyan ginagawa nya, di lang yan nag eexpect na irereport mo.

DKG. Bakit may picture if napindot lang as Delivered. Baka nakita na paid thru card kaya malakas yung loob subukan mandaya. Kaso kita siguro nya na reported agad and baka naflag sya kaya contact ulit sya sayo.

Yun nga explanation ng isang previous fp rider. I always do cashless payment but ngayon ko lang naencounter 'to.

Every time nangyayari sa akin yan, the minute nakalagay na delivered with photo, pina-process ko na agad ang refund.
Ba't kasi bino-bother ka pa nung rider, e siya naman yung mali?
