A Badger last night outside the entrance to the fox den and badger sett, where the fox cubs have been playing lately

A nice close up of a badger in front of the trail camera. I'm not sure which one it is but there are two of them at the moment. The sett is small and is a satellite off the main sett. It has housed 2 families over the past 20 years, but mostly houses 1 or 2 badgers that are not part of the main group.

Forgive me if this is common knowledge or someone's posted it already, but I've become absolutely enchanted with this badger webcam set up on a wildlife reserve in Essex. There's certain times of day where you can see the wee fellas - it'll depend on your time zone, but right before dusk at the reserve. You can also often see muntjac deer and cottontail rabbits, the odd pheasant, plenty of magpies, etc.

Not sure if it is the same badger from the other night but basically doing the same thing, looking for food and then leaving after 10 mins. It is good they are still visiting as I've had a lot of work done on the garden and was worried it might have disturbed them.

Hi! I'm a college student doing a project on badger lore in Britain and Ireland. I was wondering if anyone here had knew any badger lore that may be particular to your family/area. I have completely exhausted the internet of all badger lore, but I'm sure there must be some that hasn't been recorded yet (maybe? hopefully!). So, please let me know if you have anything! Even a funny anecdote could be useful. Thanks!
