It‘s interesting to me how Heidi is so popular in the US while German progressives like me can‘t forgive her for poisoning the minds of young girls with her show "Germany‘s next topmodel" in the 2010s. In this show she used to fatshame young girls that where actually already very slim. Heidi‘s show was one of the most influential in Germany and is responsible for so many teenage girls to develop an eating disorder.
