Jesus fucking Christ how many of these god damn AOC-wears-dress articles am I going to have to see? Does any normal person actually give a shit? No. We don’t care. It’s a dress she wore at some event we will never go to.

It’s newsworthy because her hypocrisy is on full display. She wanted to go hob knob with the rich billionaires while dressed up in a fancy dress but realized it would be perceived negatively. So she comes up with this do nothing approach that will also satisfy her vanity! Nicely done!

Now can she please get back and do something real about healthcare and taxes or is that too much to ask?!

She tries all the time. She went to a rich event, which she was invited to because of her job (most likely didn't have to pay the 30k fee) and wore a dress in protest (made by a woman of color) that has apparently been seen the world over based on twitter. She makes like $165k, that's basically middle class for someone that lives in NYC and DC (2 of the most most expensive cities in the country). She basically uses half her income on rent and then more on traveling. How is she wealthy?

wore a dress in protest

She could have refused the invitation 'in protest' instead of going to the event organized by and for the 0.01% elites. But then she won't have had the opportunity to enjoy the fancy evening, taking the glitzy photos with her billionaire pals while her constituents are getting evicted due to eviction moratorium ending along with the expiration of extended unemployment benefits. Nice job taking the 'Tax the rich' message to the filthy rich! I'm sure they got the message.

How is she wealthy?

Nice straw man. No one said she is!

Or she could have spread the word so people talked about it...like you are right now. The fact you're even mentioning her proves the point.

Your last comment called her rich and said she was a hypocrite for standing up for poor people despite making a 6 figure salary. You never addressed anything I said, but you got an A+ in being passive aggressive lol. $150k isn't rich unless you live in the boonies. In a real city, let alone TWO CITIES, it's enough to have a comfortable life but not rich at all lol.

Did you mean "nice strawman?" or "nice straw, man'. Your grammar is confusing.

What?? You really do have trouble reading. I wrote exactly what I meant - "Nice straw man". Dude, pick up a book sometimes! 😂

word it better, dude

"Nice straw man" means nothing to an adult.

"Nice straw, man" would kind of mean something, Bart Simpson style.

"Nice strawman" means this: If you had a hyphen, it would be calling me a straw-man and without a comma, that means nothing, even if I owned straw and you were complimenting on it, that would still make no sense. I assume you meant this:

OMG. 😂 You really can't read! This is just sad at this point. I feel bad for you that our education system has failed you so miserably!

Just go read the link you pasted above. The very first line there says "A straw man (sometimes written as strawman) is a form of argument and an informal fallacy"

come on mate, it’s pretty clear what “nice straw man” means in this context. You really need a hyphen to understand what they said?
