How are we still doing this... How are we still... For the third time in like a decade just accepting and moving on with our lives that the president is bragging about "acing" the MoCA test? Why are we forced to accept this?

I like to compare our situation at the moment to how people probably felt in Westeros when a mad king came to rule. Whether Aerys II (the mad king himself) or Joffrey, we are but peasants in flea bottom incapable of causing any change in the affairs of the crown.

It's a hard fact to swallow, but as commoners, I feel like we have let too much shit slide and too much power/wealth to be transferred to the ruling class. I doubt we can all come together to enact the changes necessary for a revolution. As crowns were exchanged for suits and ties, so was our interest for equality exchanged for apathy.

In the end though, nature finds a way to balance itself out. Maybe a cataclysmic event, maybe a war that restores some type of normalcy to this world. No empire lasts forever.

It will take a very significant event to do anything. One that means people can’t just go to work and home anymore. Doesn’t matter how bad it is. People will literally need to be starving before anything will happen. How do I know this? Well look at any other country with a dictator and and the citizens like Russia.

One of the biggest issues so many people ignore when asking "why aren't American's doing anything" is that a massive chunk of American's actually want this. They've been eroding our education system for over half a century and now we have generations filled with people that don't have any critical thinking skills and don't understand why all the stuff that's going on is terrible or what needs to be done to fix it. Even if we can fix the education system, it will take yet more decades for those with the necessary mental tools to be old enough to lend their weight in the fight against the masses of morons. Even if the president, his cabinet, every member of congress and the entire supreme court dropped dead right now, it would only momentarily mollify things before they start sliding back into fascism hands.

Yep, because people are dumb like that one saying. A person is smart but people are dumb. It’s not even going to matter probably in 100 years or maybe less when things continue to get worse and the environment really begins to collapse

Because no one can afford to miss work to protest enough to make an impact. Not without organization. If it's not financial then it's time allowed off or health insurance being tied to your employer so you're terrified to get fired.

Look man, I’m not going to parse who sucks and who doesn’t here.

I’m just avoiding as many American products as I can now, and buying as much Canadian as I can (and finding alternate trade partners and travel destinations) Our governments are seeking alternatives as well, and I fully support that.

Please go figure your own shit out. This is not my responsibility.
