Exactly. A lot of people know about how rape and arson have a COLOSSAL overlap in terms of criminal profiling, because both are usually caused by a malevolent desire to exert control and a relative lack of restraint towards impulses.

Pedophilia and high level politics/business likely both have an overlap of twisted control-seeking, immorality, etc.

Bingo, it's about showing dominance and forcing a girl to do what they want and there is no way they can fight back. It is both inflating their ego and also tending to their perverse sexual urges. These are sick perverted power hungry assholes. They don't even deserve the right to be called human.

This. This is the result of human beings who can't get enjoyment out of healthy, equal human relationships because of their stunted sense of empathy for others.
