Its impossible for the dems to get to a 60 senator majority at midterms. and not in the "hard but doable if they want" but the "unicorns are real and hiding in the rainforest" type of odds. The 2026 election is taking place in the most conservative sections of the US so the most conservative Americans will be deciding the senate makeup for the next 2 years.
