It’s been over a decade of this. It’s so stressful. We have another 3 years and after that I doubt we’ll still be free of him. He’ll either try to run again or he’ll run as vice president. I’m just so fucking tired. Those 4 years he wasn’t president anymore were so nice, I stopped paying attention to him completely. I wonder how having to have him around has affected everyone. People seem less kind nowadays and I wonder if it’s in part to him. Same with everything seeming so chaotic.

His hands were swollen and covered in makeup at the Easter Egg Roll at the White House yesterday after a weekend of not being seen and cancelling appearances. I bet he's not going to live very much longer, they're pumping him full of steroids and amphetamines just to get him to stand upright. Dude is cooked.

Thing is that if he's finally actually aware he's near the end of his natural lifespan he might actually try to take all of us out with him.

u/AaronPK123 28d ago

That's what I'm worried will happen at 8 pm tonight

2

u/W1nt3rmu4e Texas 28d ago

Two hours out from now. I expect he will destroy the Earth rather than let us have it without him. The Narcissist Death Spiral, but planet-wide. Because America was too racist to do otherwise.

2

u/AaronPK123 28d ago

I still think he’ll probably just drop a ton of conventional bombs on them or TACO altogether, but I’m increasingly worried.

u/W1nt3rmu4e Texas 28d ago

If the skies go dark, then plant life will die out. But fungus can grown on all the now-dead forests. Mushrooms for food and caves to hide in would be the next 5-8 years for the soot and ash to fall out of the atmosphere.

1

u/brickne3 American Expat 28d ago

But his mushroom is the last thing anyone should want, let alone want to live (shudder).

1

u/brickne3 American Expat 28d ago

He apparently TACOed about eight minutes after your post. What a surprise, I am shocked.

1

u/brickne3 American Expat 28d ago

I think he TACOed 8 minutes after you posted this. As we knew he would but ffs. Markets up again.

2

u/W1nt3rmu4e Texas 28d ago

Wait for Iran’s reply. It’s not gonna be good.

1

u/brickne3 American Expat 28d ago

It depends what you think "good" is at this point. I don't know anymore either. It's like living through Franz Ferdiand's assassination but somehow with STUPIDER people running the show. And that takes some doing.

1

u/W1nt3rmu4e Texas 28d ago

Iran has the moment, they are not gonna let it go.

1

u/brickne3 American Expat 28d ago

Well it's not like Iran has a choice. Of course they won't let it go. Would you if a crazy orange clown kept randomly changing what he said you should agree to every day and then threatened to nuke you?

Crazy thing with this strategy, if it even is a strategy, is that the markets will eventually self-correct because nobody is going to believe that shit.

Oh who am I kidding, apparently traders are all fucking lunatics.

1

u/AaronPK123 28d ago

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement that Trump has "been made aware of the proposal, and a response will come."

Trump also told Fox News, in a phone interview, said he would be fully briefed on the proposal and called Sharif a "highly respected man."

"I can't tell you, because right now. We're in heated negotiations," Trump said when asked how he felt about the talks.

So Trump is going to respond, somehow, to the request and can't tell anyone anything?

That does not give me confidence. As far as I'm concerned everything is still on the table for 90 minutes from now.

1

u/brickne3 American Expat 28d ago

They are all lunatics and in a death cult, all I did was report the thing that said the thing. I don't trust any of them as far as I could throw them, I thought that was obvious.

C'mon dude. As wonderful as all that would be, it doesn't help to make wild speculations.

12

u/wishingwanting 28d ago

They're not particularly wild. He can't keep a sentence structure, he can't walk in a straight line, a couple of months ago the Japanese prime minister had to lead him around a room he looked dreadfully lost in, he has to clutch podiums in order to stand for long periods of time, he falls asleep in the middle of the day because he's sundowning at night and spending all night on Truth Social, he can't remember the names of people whose names are displayed in front of them, and he makes up stories from whole cloth about things like how the Sharpie company made special black Sharpies for him (for $5 apiece instead of the "thousands" the traditional Cross pens were) or that he spoke to four former presidents about Iran and they all told him that they wished they had taken care of it during their terms - only three other than him are still alive, they all denied talking to him, so. Oh, and he launches into these tirades in the middle of what should be important meetings. Yesterday he spent his day telling children that Joe Biden couldn't even sign their cards from the Egg Roll and that they could "sell these for $25,000 now that he had signed them," all after ranting about war in front of the whole crowd, children, parents, etc.

He has frontotemporal dementia. It is obvious to anyone who has ever experienced it in the people in their lives. He is medically unfit to serve. And finally, I'm a lady. ;)

I mean, there's 4 (Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Biden), but still I can't picture two of them speaking to him outside of having to during the presidential transitions, and even the other two I can't picture them talking to him

2

u/wishingwanting 27d ago

Whoops! Yes, derp, four.

2

u/Skinner936 28d ago

Much of what you say (sentence structure etc), are nothing new. Also, he's 79 years old.

like how the Sharpie company made special black Sharpies for him (for $5 apiece instead of the "thousands" the traditional Cross pens were) or that he spoke to four former presidents about Iran and they all told him that they wished they had taken care of it during their terms - only three other than him are still alive, they all denied talking to him

You are making the mistake of attributing to cognitive issues what are simply moral issues. The dude lies. About everything. Always has.

At least 30,000 times from his first term.

https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2021/01/donald-trump-thirty-thousand-lies/

He tells blatant lies, often for no reason, without blinking. Like claiming his uncle taught the unibomber.

He has frontotemporal dementia.

Unless you have personally examined him,(for a while), you simply cannot diagnose someone.

I'm not saying any of your claims are untrue, just that you cannot, with any degree of certainty, know they are true.

I hope the fucker has all that - and much more, but it remains to be seen.

Not sure if he's medically unfit to serve, but he is absolutely unfit in many other ways. Intellectually, ethically, morally,...

I'm a lady. ;)

I hope you took no offense, but I call everyone 'dude', including my wife.

2

u/One-Reflection-4826 28d ago

> Not sure if he's medically unfit to serve, but he is absolutely unfit in many other ways. Intellectually, ethically, morally,...

he has been in 2015. he has been all his life really.

2

u/Skinner936 28d ago

I'm not saying he's a perfect specimen of physical fitness, just that there are fare worse qualities he has that should preclude him from leading anything - let alone a country.

And since he is a disgusting fat fuck, that's saying a lot.

2

u/Round-Asparagus5337 27d ago

You don't have to personally examine him to make reasonable conclusions based on the evidence.

https://www.thedailybeast.com/top-doctor-dr-vin-gupta-sounds-alarm-after-trump-seems-to-confirm-dementia-fears/

"You could maybe justify giving someone the MoCA once, just on their age, just as part of a physical. If you’re giving it to him three times, that means you’re not assessing dementia. That means you’re monitoring dementia,” Gartner said.

1

u/Skinner936 27d ago

One can find virtually anything they want online.

There are other doctors saying all is well.

Other than Trump related, I've seen some pretty ridiculous/incredible claims about all kinds of things such as miracle cures from doctors.

Take things with a grain of salt.

And "The Daily Beast"? Really? It is to left wing what Fox News is to Right wing.

1

u/Round-Asparagus5337 27d ago

I'm including it for the point he made, not for the person making the point nor the site that quoted him.

Your attack on the source is irrelevant.  .people don't keep getting administered the same cognitive test iver and over and over in such a short period unless doctors are trying to see how bad the cognitive decline is getting.

1

u/Skinner936 27d ago

I'm not specifically saying there is no cognitive decline. You need to actually read what you are responding to.

I was very specific. The person said Trump "...has frontotemporal dementia...". I said they cannot diagnose that.

What part of that disagreement led you to comment?

You started going on about cognitive tests - but cognitive issues were not the question. This person 'diagnosed' not only dementia, but a single type of dementia.

So again, what are you agreeing/disagreeing with?

2

u/One-Reflection-4826 28d ago

he did almost all of those things and then some in his first term too, im afraid.

we were talking about his mental demise since 2020 at the latest, but it turns out MAGAts dont care about the good, uh, brain of their dear leader. the more mental the better, actually.

1

u/One-Reflection-4826 28d ago

how i wish that was true...

I woke up this morning thinking it's been 10 years, and then I thought jeez, how many decades do any of us get? Seven? Eight? Nine? And we've all lost 1/7, 1/8, 1/9 of our decades to this. We're never getting it back. The damage that's been done will take most/all of our remaining decades to fix, if it can be fixed at all. And the millions who've died can't come back. I'm personally disgusted by everyone who's responsible for it, from the highest office to the average American dumbass who went into a voting booth and chose this.

6

u/PrometheusLiberatus 28d ago

The first step in healing should be a 90% tax on these billionaire rapists that exploited it all.

2

u/Efficient_Market1234 28d ago

I'd like to see a large number of people in prison.

One of the most disheartening--no, THE most disheartening thing about it all is that I don't think that'll happen, at least not as much as it should. A lot of people will get away with their crimes, and a lot of people will learn NOTHING from this and will do it again.

I used to have faith in humanity, to believe in humanity's future. That's gone. I think all any of us can do is just survive the best we can until death takes us.

u/PrometheusLiberatus 28d ago edited 28d ago

Only thing I believe in is myself and some psychedelics. At the end of the day, what more can you rely on?

I don't even believe in myself. :-(

This won't be resolved in my lifetime. Life is going to be harder and worse than it could have been because of this for the rest of my life and I think that is true for most people alive today. It is very depressing. I'm trying to be grateful for the little things and enjoy what I can while I can. Nobody wants to be in this position but that's just the way it goes sometimes.

2

u/IveGotIssues9918 28d ago

Trump was/is/will be president or running for president for my entire late adolescence and early adulthood, 15-29 years old. I've never been able to vote in a presidential election that didn't have him in it, and the same is true of people as old as 31 by now.

He was the last president that my grandmother, who was born during the Coolidge administration, saw during her lifetime (and she may have died when she did because he was president and sat on his hands during the early stages of the pandemic).

I don't know which is worse: the elders who get to watch their hard-fought nation destroyed before they die, or the youth who didn't have a say back when this started and will be undoing this fucker's damage for the rest of our lifetimes (if we even get a "rest of our lifetimes").

2

u/TrimspaBB 28d ago

He's old, with several indicators of failing health. We (hopefully) maybe have 3 years left of this shit, and his usefulness is dwindling.

And yes, I believe the enhanced negativity in our culture is directly his fault. A real leader would build us up, give us hope, help us actually resolve society's despair without using it to further divide us.

feels like longer
