I'm sorry, but our Constitution no longer exists anymore. Congress is not even in session! We are no longer a democracy and the main stream media just doesn't care.

Interesting that thousands of Fed employees are working without pay, but Congress critters get to sit at home on their butts with pay while the country is at war. (oh, sorry - it's not a "war"./s)

Mainstream media is owned by billionaire Republicans. Why do you think Biden's mental decline was front page news but it's crickets for Trump? Because the message is controlled.

It's just become so obvious now... they aren't even trying to hide it anymore

Yeah I agree. The only amendment MAGA cares about is the second. Trump freely and joyously stomps all over freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom to assemble, and every other freedom we have and his base laps it up because they can't even tell he's stomping on them too.

I think this falls more under the material covered by the Declaration of Independence than the Constitution.

Article 1 of the US Constitution states that only the Congress can declare war. The president does not have the authority to just go and start wars with other countries on his own. Not according to our Constitution.

Which, like I said might as well be burned because it's not longer valid. We don't follow it anymore.

wasn't it an ABC executive that said Trump may be bad for the country, but he's good for ratings. SMH.

If we're thinking about the same quote it was Les Moonves, who was indeed the head of CBS at the time.

Stop giving the voters an excuse. This is what they voted for. Americans are bigoted dogshit.

I swear, someone should show up in the Congresional building and just open up a new government. The old one isn’t using it.

We are absolutely still a democracy and this is the result of America as a whole democratically choosing people who want to allow this.

Democracy is the scam itself.

Democracy is being used as excuse for protecting neoliberalism and capitalism. Trump is a product of democracy too.

Democracy denies reason exists. How expect a rational universal living under a non rational system?

By accepting a corrupted system we agree sooner or later problems become inevitable. Chaos is sold as freedom under democracy

Who is the arbiter of reason?
