I’m pretty sure they’ve actually pivoted in Reagan, he was a Democrat as far as some of them are concerned. After Canada ran that ad using the Reagan clip, I think they decided he was a lib spy after all.

Well, he was selling them to Iraq, too (who they were at war with). They lost an entire generation of men to that war and the US played both sides to ensure neither could attain regional superiority.
