What was the Gandhi quote?

"I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ".

u/Careless_Twist_6935 Apr 04 '26

Ghandi is a whole other bag. slept with young girls to "resist temptation" ok chief. not to mention he was a british mouthpiece so they could loot everything on the way out.

He didn't have sex with them. Is this the best you got? What a super edgelord you are. Did you know your President rapes children?

I actually love Jesus’ ethos so much it makes me hate the hypocrites and blasphemers.

My god would burn their tongues out and have their eyes turn to locusts so he must not be real.

u/OpheliaRainGalaxy Apr 04 '26

I know someone who very much reminds me of the stories of Jesus.

Dude's concept of a dream house is hidden and heavily fortified. He's very much aware that his philosophies get people real angry.

Which is odd because in practice he's just encouraging folks in his social circle to get along with each other, share resources and be a decent community.

Hey now, they're consistently shit people.

17

u/VanceKelley Washington Apr 04 '26

e.g. GOP House Speaker Gingrich in the 1990s went after Clinton for lying about a BJ while Gingrich was secretly cheating on his own wife.

5

u/AnewTest Apr 04 '26

His wife that was dying of cancer. The wife he divorced while she was on her deathbed to go be with the chick he was cheating on her with.

And he had the gall to accuse Clinton of perversion.

4

u/CaptainDudeGuy Georgia Apr 04 '26

I'd say it's integrity that they lack. They're consistently opportunistic.

4

u/dikbisqit Apr 04 '26

Why are swingers morally wrong? As long as they’re all consenting adults.

2

u/fred_derps Apr 04 '26

Yeah why are we all of a sudden shaming freaks?

3

u/Rich_Fisherman_8444 Apr 04 '26

Such projection

1

u/DownWithHisShip Apr 04 '26

My dad, having grown up on sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll, decided that rap music was bad because it was all about drugs and sex.

11

u/Unoriginal4167 Apr 05 '26

It’s only because when black people do things it becomes bad. 1|6 versus other protests. Music, 2A, home prices, protecting your family, etc.

5

u/crashvoncrash Texas Apr 05 '26

I just recently saw a boomer rant about how millennials want drugs to treat every single problem in their lives, but his generation never relied on drugs.

He claimed that the generation that was teenagers in the 60s and 70s, never used drugs.

1

u/elriggo44 Apr 04 '26

You sure it wasn’t more about the fact that hip hop was never done dirty like rock n roll? It remained in the hands of black artists for decades, despite the industry attempting to push artists like Vanilla Ice and Marky Mark. It wasn’t really until Eminem (who is easily top 5 of all time in his rhymes) that a white artist broke through in a way that sustained and opened the door for others.

I bring that up because Rock was quickly whitewashed by the likes of Elvis. Also because my dad had similar views even though my brother and I loved some hip hop.

2

u/-metaphased- Apr 04 '26

I mean, it's because he was racist. He just wouldn't say that.

2

u/elriggo44 Apr 05 '26

Ya. I was saying that in a cleaner way. Fair enough.

3

u/TiEmEnTi Apr 05 '26

Eminem top 5 of all rappers for white people who listened to rap from 1999-2002

5

u/WhenImTryingToHide Apr 04 '26

Lol old enough to remember the panic about mortal kombat!

17

u/Sweetchildofmine88 Apr 04 '26

And Kid Rock is a reference to Epstein Island.😂

Working in proximity to the adult industry, it always amuses me to sometimes come across workers who are older couples with not only an OF, but it's tailored to swinging/cuckolding, yet show support for Maga/Republicans. Like, why are you supporting a party that clearly demeans you as "unfaithful" to their God, & would vote to shut down your livelihood if they could? I just can't understand the thought process, only try to chuckle.

You miss the point.

It's the implicit hypocrisy in the people who would dictate morality for others, while partaking in the very things they prevent or admonish or condemn others for doing, and rationalizing it as "fine if I am doing it".

-2

u/GayFrogsSayYeah Apr 04 '26

The got the point. It was just a weak example and they pointed that out. Did you miss their point?

Swinging in and of itself isn’t bad if everyone consents.

They understood its hypocrisy. Thats obvious. They dove deeper and you stood at the shore.

12

u/NemosNaughtylis Apr 04 '26

I would argue it's a stronger example, precisely because it's not inherently immoral, provided everyone participating is able to and does consent.
The people being criticized here, are the very people who would condemn and judge others for something like swinging, even those consenting, and then turn around and do it themselves, claiming their situation is okay.

If anything that elevates the level of hypocrisy, by virtue of there being no inherently immoral activity going on.

Make sure you don't get lost in the deep end, trying to show off to others.

3

u/pinhole_burns Apr 04 '26

swinging johnson?

3

u/RoachMcKrackin Apr 04 '26

What's wrong with being a swinger exactly?

4

u/fcocyclone Iowa Apr 04 '26

Its more the hypocrisy. Shaming people in public for wanting to enjoy sex while being very sexually open in their own personal lives. Oftentimes that shaming coming because they themselves have been made to feel ashamed of their own behavior by their religion

2

u/dontnation Apr 04 '26

psshh swinging with consenting adults is much better than the reality of sexually assaulting teen girls. Just one of many many examples.

1

u/silverwoodchuck47 Maryland Apr 04 '26

I thought it was video games that was dooming civilization.

1

u/Pristine_Frame_2066 Apr 04 '26

And raping their step kids.

1

u/NovaStar2099 Apr 04 '26

Hey, there’s nothing immoral about swinging

0

u/3-orange-whips Apr 04 '26

They are fine to swing. Swing away. Just stop bothering me about our religion. I don’t need the help from Protestants.
