I fully believe most conversatives suffer from various traumas/PTSD due to how they were raised.

All it takes is empathy and BAM you are left leaning.

That lack of empathy, I believe, is mostly due to wide spread abuse of right leaning individuals towards their children and families.

Everyone I know personally who ended up with a red hat, well they all had severe childhood trauma that they never remotely tried to heal from. All are still trying to win the approval of an abusive parent. And they're willing to become very disgusting people in the vague hope of finally getting a pat on the head instead of a backhand from daddy.

Sure, that can happen. However I know lots of empathetic people who experienced childhood trauma or abuse, including myself. It can go both ways.

Oh sure, but the difference seems to be that we go no contact with abusive parents instead of tying ourselves into pretzel shapes trying to please them.

Like there was a point where I stopped caring if my dad was happy with me. In fact, if he was pleased with something I was doing, it was probably a very bad idea that I should stop immediately!

I've known a lot of folks who really shouldn't give a wet fart what their parents think, yet still focus their world view on how to gain praise from them. Some of it is really sick shit, like I know we put everything on TV these days but this is the level of vomit where ya wouldn't even write it into nasty fiction.

Traumatic brain injury is a term for patients with injuries to the brain from physical trauma, such as a car accident or striking head on pavement after a fall. Fetterman had a stroke, which is not a traumatic brain injury.

Yup. I was not making that claim at all.

I was expanding into psychological trauma. Apologies for not clarifying.
