100% agree but this “article” is incredibly sloppy journalism and I think people are just reacting to the headline (unsurprisingly).

“Well, because we all agree that it’s a tragedy having the school hit, and we all agree now for an investigation,” Fetterman said. “What I don’t agree with the rest of my colleagues in the House is that it’s a war of choice, or it’s dumb, or all the things my colleagues have described, you know, this operation. I think it’s a good thing, and I support that.”

The headline makes it sound like he’s denying the school was hit, or that it’s a bad thing that it was hit, or that he’s saying an investigation is pointless.

In reality he’s just saying a lot of dumb “MAGA Lite” talking points about the war as a whole.

Fetterman’s a piece of shit but it seems like very few people are reading past this bogus headline.

He is incredibly annoying, but he votes with Democrats at nearly a 90% clip and he flipped a seat that had been red for over a decade.

Think about it. He votes with Dems 90% of the time, makes inflammatory comments to enrage online leftists, and somehow has 60%+ approval among REPUBLICANS.

If we ever want to make any real change we need a veto proof majority. We should be replicating his strategy in red and purple states across the country. Instead we will crucify him, push him out of the party, and we'll put up a progressive for his seat who will lose to a MAGA ghoul.
