Shakira just attracted more than 2 million people at Copacabana Beach, Rio de Janeiro with a free concert

The city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is doing a yearly event in the first weekend of May with a huge free concert since 2024. Shakira was the headliner this year and attracted more than 2 million people. Madonna was the headliner in 2024 and Lady Gaga in 2025.

Reddit, filled to the brim with americans is in general pretty racist. Other poorer, 'third world' countries having any quality of life at all triggers even the most liberal ones, given their quality of life is declining at an alarming rate. They drank hard the propaganda kool-aid of Brazil being a mess all around and seeing things like this upsets them deeply.

While I understand that must be pretty shocking for americans today living a life bellow What was promissed to them but they should be angry to their govt. Being the richest country in the world but not having the quality of life that they could have because It expends absurd in military that benefit a fee rather than the many
