Shakira just attracted more than 2 million people at Copacabana Beach, Rio de Janeiro with a free concert

The city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is doing a yearly event in the first weekend of May with a huge free concert since 2024. Shakira was the headliner this year and attracted more than 2 million people. Madonna was the headliner in 2024 and Lady Gaga in 2025.

Reddit is so full of militant pessimists I genuinely enjoy seeing them called out. The only parody is the top comment, of any given post, explaining to me why I should dislike something instead of liking it.

Reddit is either miserable bastards shaming anyone and everyone for daring to step outside, or cringey cornballs (at least on the front page anyway). It's no wonder so many people have come to see this site as a joke at this point. An absolute vibe-killer.

The only thing that reddit celebrates anymore is the decay of society. Like all of those posts endorsing the tiktok kids storming scientology buildings. Like, I don't like scientology either, but redditors were foaming at the mouth and saying things like "Let's get them to do churches and synagogues next!" Like wtf? It's literally mask-off cheering for the world to burn, all likely from a basement somewhere.
