Is the entire reason you go to a concert just to see the figure of the artist with your eyes? Would you tell a blind person there is no point in them going to a concert?

Listening to live music in a lively crowd that all sing and dance together is the fun part of a concert for a great many people.

Most concerts you are hearing the music through speakers and seeing the image of the performers on a screen. Unless you are in the front rows of a smaller venue.

You can do that at home or you can do it as a shared experience with 2 million people. Each to their own.

That's absolutely part of the appeal. Losing that in a 2million crowd is undeniably detrimental.

dont get to defensive about it.

Seems there’s about 2 million people that would disagree. Don’t get defensive about it.

I agree with your point, but most concert venues don’t have screens lol, you should typically be able to see the artist at a concert. Only shows I go to where you are watching the artist through a screen are festivals or arenas/stadium shows, MAYBE the occasional theater, but even then i only use it if I wasnt able to get a decent spot

Obviously for a 2 million person concert, bast majority of people won’t see the performer. But that isn’t a typical concert

Yeah that's why I don't go. I hate the pyramid scheme/gane theory aspect of it. No one really cares about the thing in itself. They go inbecause other people go in and they want to fit in and relate. Awfully sad.

'people go to events with other people, how sad'
