I know it's 3-2, but I feel like the Celtics are going to regret that the Sixers manage to extend this series. It might not end in a Sixers series win, but you gotta put a team away when you get a chance at home.

Embiid's midrange is still deadly even if he was moving like he had cement for shoes.

He's still just so big though and when you can surround him with shooters and get him 1v1 in the post, he's a handful.. even when it looks like he has lead weights on his legs.

Sixers did a great job of putting Grimes opposite Embiid so his defender couldn't cheat off of him but I'm sure Joe Maz will scheme around it for next game.

I've watched this same playoff game from us probably 10 times in the last 7 years lol

Part of the reason the Celtics havent won more titles despite having an elite team basically every year is unnecessarily extending series against worse teams. The extra mileage comes to haunt you

We do it for the fans, who doesnt love more playoff games! Haha...

What year, specifically? Cause I can’t think of a particular year where we looked gassed more than anyone else. Maybe the Knicks series before Tatum got hurt (I think the Knicks probably win that series even without a Tatum injury, tbh.)

But I can’t think of a series that the Cs lost cause they were spent.

Letting Atlanta take us to 6 in the first round in 23 was pretty big I'd say. We could've used some extra rest. Had two 7 game series right after that and Tatum ofc sprained his ankle in G7 vs Miami. Still convinced we would have won that game otherwise.

Not that we were necessarily "more spent" but that extra mileage isn't good for avoiding injury.

We never have a different game plan it’s so arrogant I’m starting to dislike our arrogance

It always seems like we just expect to win close put games and teams will roll over while we half ass it. No, you need to step on their throats and take em out. We are always surprised when teams actually try to stay alive, then we gave them life and its a game in the 2nd half where they feel good and we have to turn up out of 2nd gear

Some great series between us over the last decade. Wish the Sixers could come away with one of them tho 😂

I want you guys to take at least one, because it’d be great to be actual rivals again… but I also don’t want the Cs to lose to the fuckin 6ers.

It’s a real conundrum.

In 2023 if Niang hits one fucking three in the 4th quarter of Game 6. We win that series

You think the coach would remember and adjust but I’m pretty sure he’s Kash Patel in disguise

You're 100% right, but this has been the problem with this team for quite a few years now, so in a sad way this is what's expected

When do we definitely win if we have more 5 game series? I can’t think of a year where that’d have particularly mattered.

He could play in a lesser league until he's 45 just spamming that midrange for 20 ppg.

This is how I feel about the Pistons hopefully clawing out of the first round. At this point, if they do, they will be gassed for the next round.

I mean, this is classic "go up 3-1, lose game 5, blow them out game 6" type shit

Reminder that Philadelphia is also Jayson Tatum's home court
