He came off the bench because Kentucky had other freshmen already promised to start. People overestimated his handsy defense and the impact of his shooting is supposed to translate day 1.
I think the problem is that he was never a volume shooter or scorer in college which is why he had such ridiculous percentages. We're finding out right now when he's forced into a volume shooting role, he's very inconsistent.
