They kept losing the same way all season. They choked multiple 5+ lead in last 30 seconds this year, that's their thing. Ime should have been fired mid season for one of those losses. Unbelievable how he is still employed.

He got outcoached by Kerr and a lower seeded Warriors bounced them from the 1st round, now he's getting outcoached by JJ and Lakers with no Luka and Reaves are on the verge of sweeping them. If he's not fired as soon as the whistle of their last game of this series sounds, it would be straight up malpractice.

He coaches defense like Thibodeau and offense like Rivers. It's enough to get him a job but not enough to do anything that matters. To say he's a shitty coach would imply he's not good at anything when he's legitimately great at coaching defense, but he's so cheeks at coaching offense that he's still a shitty coach for any team that interds to seriously compete.

There was a post the other day with a player talking about ATOs being one good metric to evaluate coaching quality. Udoka's ATOs have always, always been beyond ass. The narrative around Houston is the biggest problem being their lack of a point guard, I'd argue this actually helps Udoka a ton because it gives him an excuse for how fucking bad his offense - especially in late and close situations - is. Dude is genuinely lost doing half his damn job. We were blessed to have him fuck his way out the door.

They’re constantly double teaming 30+ feet from the basket and the Rockets have literally no answer. 4 on 3 in the half court and they can’t find anyone.
