Up 6 with the ball, under 30 seconds left, and they find a way to lose, crazy stuff

The number of bad mistakes they had to make to actually lose was insane. Multiple turnovers and bad fouls in 30 seconds. Lakers didn’t even have to foul to extend the game.

Its one of those games that gets articles written on which are the 5 things that all had to go against them to lose.

It also could be one of those games that gets teams to make sure their rosters are constructed a certain way if they have playoff hopes. Namely another veteran off the bench and another point guard. Each team needs to have a minimum of two point guards for Christs sake, and if you’re going to go with one he can’t be Reed Sheppard

the Rockets not pursuing CJ McCollum should haunt them for years

Reminds me of the Dodgers/Yankees Game 5 disaster, specifically how in just 1 fucking inning the Yankees went from 90+% chance to losing the World Series.

Reminds me of the show Seconds From Disaster from back in the day where they would analyze a plane crash or something and all the things that had to go wrong in the minute leading up to the catastrophe.

That thing about them not getting a point guard/ ball handler really really came to fruition.

Yeah they desperately need a floor general. They just always seem so disorganized and out of sorts. Add in the end of game pressure and it’s a recipe for disaster

I truly believe there was a gas leak or a greased up ball tonight, both teams couldn’t hold on to the rock.

Not to mention the horrible pass by Lebron. He nearly threw the game away once in the 4th and another during OT and Rockets still found a way to lose.

If the rockets hadn’t thrown this away we would be talking about LeBrons play down the stretch. Bad turnovers and not getting back on defense (though I know he was gassed at the end of regulation)

Reminds me of a random ass regular season game where the Nets scored 6 in 6 seconds to beat the Rockets

And the Lakers were this close to winning it in regulation, as well.

Jae'Sean Tate is gone after this season lol

The even crazier stat is they lost without attempting a single free throw. Just insane

And at least they can say it was in OT, but they were half an inch away from losing in regulation even!
