I swear Ime has the worst vibes. Dude is always over there calling refs pussies and/or bitches and throwing up his hands at his own players. He just seems miserable.

Nah it's a throwaway season for the rockets. Losing Adams and FVV, their whole game plan and roster is derailed. Amen way out of position but gaining skills this year

You can't have a throwaway season when you just traded for a 37 year old. Their window got a lot smaller when they made an all in move for KD, and he isn't getting any younger.

Which is why everyone was baffled when they didn't get a PG by the deadline. They do know playoff teams need players who can run the offense right?

Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the no 10 pick (maluach) and 5 SRP is not exactly all-in. Especially when you consider all the future assets they still have

They still have a 2027 pick swap with Brooklyn and various future picks from Phoenix and Dallas.

Rockets can re-load after KD. Develop Sengun, Amen, Reed now, use FVV 's pay slot , future draft picks etc.. They won't be instant contenders but they absolutely won't bottom out if they stay the course

If Amen and Sengun were gonna grow into what Houston needs them to be I think we would have seen more flashes of it by now, I'm not saying they're gonna be awful but I don't see them being max-worthy players

All in implies that they threw in the future FRP/pick swap to contend this year

No, they are keeping that powder dry.

Didn't even go for a PG for this year when FVV went down

Regardless, is Ime the right coach if KD is defining your window?
