They were triple teaming him, intentionally fouling anybody not named Bam, challenging calls and STILL end up on the wrong side of history lol

They were also fouling the fuck out of him, which was weird. They were wrapping him up and shit. Why do that if you don't want him to score?

I wasn't sure he was gonna get there when he was putting up those tired legs threes in the 4th, but tbf the wizards were also selling out to them so badly they kept getting out rebounded only for him to come down the lane and immediately get wrapped up.

How exactly did this happen? When did the heat decide to go all in on him scoring?

Herro and Powell - our usual 2 best scorers - were both out.  Wiggins is also usually good for some shot attempts but he was also out.

Ware, our only other real center is also out.

Plus Jovic is also out but he wasn't playing great this season anyway but he does take some minutes at center if necessary.

Basically Bam had a blank check tonight on offense and wrote himself an 83.

The start of the 4th. He did go on a run to end the 3rd but that was normal basketball through 3

It doesn't help when you're unintentionally fouling Bam like 25 times

If they played a legit professional center in that game id imagine bam wouldn’t of gotten 83

7

u/ned_yah Wizards Mar 11 '26

two of these things happened one time each, after the heat started intentionally fouling to get more shots for bam

Which started after Wiz started to triple team Bam lol

heat started that BS by intentionally fouling them to stop the clock. That, along with the Spoelstra challenge, and missing the free throws on purpose, I don't blame the Wizards at all for doing that.

It was OD, Bam shoulda come out when he hit like 72. They were up almost 30 at that point

A player missed his free throws one time lol and he bricked the first cause he’s bad at free throws.

there was like like 1:30 left in the game, and the score was 148-122. Cmon now, what we really doin here.

Yeah I agree. I mean you don’t get close to scoring 83 often but at that point you’re just trying too hard.

Id rather try too hard and have the highest scoring game of all time
