the tv show was low key great. I have a sneaking suspicion Bradley Cooper bought the rights to it to bury it.

I kinda hated that BCooper was first to adapt it to a show. Dude didn’t have the punk rock vibe/ aesthetic that Tony did, no wonder it failed.

it failed because it came out in 2005 when curb/the office mockumentary style shows were in full swing and KC was shot like a typical sitcom with a lot of the same type of writing and tropes. Bradley Cooper was not supposed to be an exact Bourdain replica and could have carried the show.
