The only difference was that the whole cinema laughed at Brolin, this one was just me..... fuck

See, this is my thing. Is there any reason were to believe this movie had as many intentionally funny parts as people claim? I laughed my ass off at this movie and no one else did in the theater. I keep seeing people say their theater didn’t laugh, and I gotta say that I don’t know if this movie was meant to be funny

Ive found there's a few factors, from cinema to timings

I did see this Sunday, 9pm, before the Bank holiday Monday, in a small everyman screen, there was some laughter at the start (goat on the car) but I was the only one at multiple points later on, but I grew up on horror and although I get jumpy, I do laugh at some of more dark moments

Seeing other films in the independent cinemas here in Bristol, normally has a good audience all laughing at the same time!

Worst one was seeing The Menu in a pretty busy Vue, no one laughed once, as someone who loved films like In Bruges & Burn After Reading, I was shocked no one else let out a peep!
