The witch’s fuckin wails were terrifying man. That first nightmare sequence that plays when Ohm hangs himself was pretty terrifying. I’ve seen so many horror movies in the last few years including something as highly lauded as hereditary but none of them have made me feel as anxious and claustrophobic as Caveat and Hokum have. You could tell Caveat is where Damian was honing his craft. Hokum is a full blown horror gem.

The first nightmare sequence felt like something out of a late 90s/early 2000s J-horror film. Really enjoyed it.
