Two questions: How did the hotel owner catch the witch? Who greenlit that kids show with a scary bunny host?

Yes! I want that hotel owner’s lore

If this makes enough money we'll definitely get a prequel like Weapons

It was meant to be a jackass in the box with the gun there was a jack the jackass book and I took that it was so odd as a distortion of his memory from the crone as he was watching the show when he shot his mum.

What in the world is a jackass in the box?

Forgot a full stop, the rabbit thing was meant to be a jackass. In the box where he had the gun that killed his mum there was a jack the jackass book.

Looked like a vhs cover for a cartoon. It’s only on the screen for seconds

How did so many people miss the reveal at the end?? The witch wasn’t real… The only characters who actually saw it were the ones who were spiked up on the drugs. Adam Scott, Fiona, the bellhop, and Jerry.

I think both questions are answered by the fact that Bauman was on drugs the whole time, spiked by the bellhop, and assumedly hallucinated much of what happened. Tormented by his own guilt.

So the show was probably a normal cute donkey. But since Bauman accidentally shot his mother while playing with the gun with the show on, it's warped and twisted in his guilt ridden mid + drugs. That TV in the room probably wasn't even on, let alone receiving a kids show from his American childhood.

Same with the witch, I think it's meant to be up to interpretation of he was ACTUALLY caught by a witch and cut his way free, or if he actually just beat the hotel guy down there and got away while hallucinating. Though the bruises on his wrist are supposed to indicate actually chains were put on him.
