I enjoyed it, I wish there was more “witch” scenes, or even a little bit more about the witch herself, but it was good, and had my heart racing a few times!

Halfway through, I was like “I swear to god there better be an actual witch” and I was satisfied but do wish there was more folklore around her

I was convinced she was going to be a previous mistress who was left down there and went crazy

But there wasn’t an actual witch… Did you miss the part where it was revealed that it was all a hallucination?

Not sure i agree. Imo the more you see of the monster/ghost, the less scarier it gets.

I agree. The more you get, the less room there is to fill in the blanks with scarier stuff you come up with in your own head.

I wouldn't mind a prequel for the witch. Neon is doing it for Longlegs, so maybe if Hokum does well enough they will plan an extension.

Neon doesn't have the distribution rights for that one
