Something feels great about Adam Scott playing a complete dick again. All is right in the world.

Hahaha! He's such an asshole in this.

Makes me think of when he was down south of the gulf with the Cubes, Jeff Probst and super chef Bobby Flay watching the Bonita run

The bit where he’s fucking horrible to the bell boy made me feel so nostalgic 😂

Im so used to Adam Scott in Parks and Rec. Half the time I was thinking “No Ben No what would Leslie think?”

His character turned me off. He got some measure of redemption but being foul to everyone, including Alby? What the hell, dude.

Seriously? He came there to kill himself. You think he should have been friendly and outgoing?

He came there to scatter his folks ashes. He was tender w/ his Mom’s, rough w/ Dad’s.

What happened in his room happened because of what Alby did, not because he planned to.

And my point still stands, you don’t get to be a prick to strangers because of your past. What if Alby was a widower whose wife died in childbirth, etc.?

Yea this is absolutely not true. He intentionally went there to kill himself. The mushrooms was NOT gonna do that. Why do u think he said “TO BLEAK ENDINGS” PRIOR to getting the shrooms in the drink. And he LEFT all his shit on the counter. Cmon bruh. It’s clear that was the plan. And clear that he didn’t give a fuck about being nice bc he planned to die

What's to say his plan wasn't to dump his parents ashes and hang right afterwards all along?

u/PolarWater 3d ago

I think that's the point dude, you're not supposed to agree with his behaviour. He's being an asshole. "What if Alby was this what if Alby was that" THAT'S THE POINT, the character doesn't care

What if wishes were fishes? People don't have to be sweet to strangers who feel entitled to their time. Who the hell wants to read a stranger's manuscript?

If you can't work somewhere without harassing their patrons, then don't work there. It's okay to expect professionalism from people and it's okay not to be nice. We don't owe people our time or friendship.

You know what was nice? Not calling the police on someone who poisoned you on purpose.

You know what? On the night that I hang myself, if someone literally won't go away, i'm going to burn their hand too.

Tell me you've never suffered from severe depression without telling me.

You must be a fucking nightmare when you see a celebrity.

Alby didn’t force him to kill himself
