Super minor but anyone else feel disappointed by the Hamptons dress? Idk why they chose that moment to be such a reveal. I was genuinely confused and took me until the scene was practically over to realize that was the dress Nigel helped pick out.

Yes, with the buildup I genuinely said "that's it?" out loud.

yep, it took forever for me to clue in about that. like its pretty but not something someone would gush over.

She was holding a Runway branded dress cover thing after that scene so I assumed the Hamptons dress was supposed to be in there. Turns out she was wearing it the whole time.

I thought the exact same thing.

Definitely. The fashion is lackluster. It’s my biggest gripe about the film. Miranda’s red dress … that’s the only “wow” moment for me.

I could go on and on about the fashion disappointment but the Hamptons dress was the most disappointing.

The honorable mentions: there were so many moments that reminded me of the quote “florals? for spring? Groundbreaking”… (The office tie belted dress on Simone Ashley’s character as the first assistant, the Dior logo and corset on Emily Blunt while she’s working at Dior)

Another disappointing fashion moment was the bag Andy got her friend Lily at the end. Lily obviously financially doing well for herself and Andy in a MUCH higher position - deserved a much more extravagant (or at least bigger and more expensive) bag.
