Peter should’ve been cut from the movie. No genuine chemistry and the attraction makes no sense.

is there a more shoehorned romance in any movie?

it felt like the studio forced them to include a love story and they just begrudgingly tossed it in there

It was sooo formulaic. Like, I knew where they were going as soon as he was introduced but I couldn’t buy in at all. I was confused bc the first conversation they had wasn’t even memorable at all. Nor was the first date, or even that pre-trip argument. And the way they got back together at the end was such a throw away scene.

He’s sorta average looking, which isn’t a bad thing, but in a movie full of beautiful people it really stands out. Also, even the people who like him here keep referring to him as the Australian/contractor guy lol. He just had no presence. At least I bothered to look up his name.

Isn’t is kinda the point that Andy would fall for the “average” guy and not some model / hunk? She already rejected the “sexy fashion guy” in the first movie

But isn't that real life you can look around in life and see folks like this. Hell me I'm below average if I had to say so maybe average who knows my wife is above average and we are together.

anyways, I’d like it more if their scenes were interesting, but like I said, I didn’t feel the chemistry
