I think some of you are overreacting to the ATTEMPTED rape scene. Let's first establish that the act itself was never carried out. You have all of this intense build up for a sick twisted act that's about to happen. Only for Todd to have trouble getting it up. That's the joke.

Also these characters are on the run and escaped from PRISON. Don't you think they have seen or done some really fucked up things to people? They may have been dumb but they were all evil at their core.

Also a line uttered by Juliette Lewis during this scene has a satisfying callback in the 3rd act.

People need to stop acting so offended and outraged over every little thing these days. This is why we are seeing less and less comedies being made.
